Wick trimmers are an essential candle tool specially designed to trim a candle wick to the perfect length, ensuring a clean and even burn, while also extending the life of the candle.
Trimming your candle wick before burning ensures a consistent flame height while it’s burning. When the wick is too long, it can produce a larger flame causing the candle to burn too hot, ruining the quality of the wax and fragrance and causing a safety hazard. This also causes candles to burn too quickly.
Their round scissor design prevents wick trimmings from accidentally dropping into the candle, ensuring a clean, safe burn.
The long handles allow for easy access to the wick, allowing you to trim the wick with precision even as the candle burns down. No more trying to fit your hand into the jar trying to trim the wick with your fingers!
Not only do candle wick trimmers help maintain the quality of your candles, but they also make for a great gift for any candle enthusiast. Made with high-quality stainless steel and coated to give them a sleek matte black finish, they are the perfect addition to anyone’s candle care kit.
Instructions for use:
First, make sure the candle is not burning and has cooled to room temperature. Then, open the blades and position them over the wick, making sure to hold the trimmer at a slight angle. Trim the wick to about 1/8 to 1/4 inch in length and discard the trimming. Then light your candle and enjoy!
